Newsweek names Baylor the No. 11 school in the country for student-athletes

Posted by The Baylor Proud Team in Athletics, Honors

Baylor among Newsweek's top schools for athletesWhen it comes to athletics, Baylor is justifiably proud of both parts of the student-athlete equation.

The university offers prospective student-athletes winning programs (only two schools have more Big 12 titles than BU over the past eight years) and strong academic support (Baylor annually ranks among the Big 12 leaders in graduation rate).

For its annual college rankings issue, Newsweek added up several metrics to find the best colleges and universities for athletes. All tallied, Baylor came in as the No. 11 school in the nation for student-athletes (leading all their Big 12 brethren as well as every SEC, Pac-12 and Big 10 school).

Sic ’em, Baylor athletics!
