Nationwide survey of profs ranks Baylor accounting among nation’s top 25
A recent nationwide survey of more than 1,700 accounting professors found that Baylor’s accounting program is recognized as one of the nation’s very best. The poll, released as Public Accounting Report’s 29th Annual Survey of Accounting Professors, ranked Baylor’s undergraduate program No. 23 in the nation and No. 10 among similar-sized programs.
The graduate program also was honored, just missing the nationwide top 25 (earning honorable mention) but placing 11th among programs with a similar number of teaching faculty.
Of course, none of this is surprising to Baylor Proud readers. After all, when you’re in the top five in the nation year after year on CPA exam pass rate and lauded by such publications as BusinessWeek on a consistent basis, someone’s bound to notice.
Sic ’em, Baylor accounting!
