ESPN/Infiniti competition could net Baylor $100,000 for scholarships
As one of 14 universities featured on ESPN’s GameDay Games of the Week, Baylor men’s basketball head coach Scott Drew is also one of 14 coaches included in The Infiniti Coaches’ Charity Challenge. Each coach is competing for a charity that is near to his heart; fan voting at espn.com/infiniti will determine the winning coach and charity. The top vote-getter’s charity will receive a $100,000 donation from Infiniti, while the remaining charities each receive $10,000.
With Baylor in the midst of a push to raise $100 million for student scholarships, Coach Drew’s designated charity is a scholarship fund he and his wife established here at Baylor. In the video embedded below, Drew explains why scholarships are so important.
