Women’s Network provides connections for alumni, scholarships for students

There’s no connection like a Baylor connection. Everywhere I go, I meet women with a variety of ties to Baylor who have found their home in the Baylor Women’s Network. These women amaze me. Diverse in age and background, they faithfully gather throughout the year — championing fellowship, friendship and philanthropy. I applaud them for holding local events such as service projects, style shows, museum tours and teas, so that other women can experience the Baylor spirit in their communities.

And across the board, they value Baylor education and have chosen to give back to today’s students. Each women’s group awards a scholarship to at least one student every year. These women are bringing change; these women understand Baylor community. I’m proud to call them my fellow Baylor Bears.
