Alum named Weather Channel CFO/CAO

Step one for us before beginning to pack for our holiday travels is always to check what the weather will be in our destination of choice. An Internet search for “weather” always brings up The Weather Channel’s weather.com as the number one result, and I would wager it’s what most of you use to look up forecasts outside your city or town.

As you turn on the Weather Channel or check weather.com this week, you mind find it interesting to know that a Baylor Bear is among the company’s top leaders. Jerry Elliott, BBA ’81, JD ’83, was named chief financial officer and chief administrative officer for The Weather Channel Companies earlier this month. Previously, he had served as CFO for London-based Virgin Media.
