Worth reading: Baylor’s presidential search prospectus

Saw this week where the Presidential Search Committee is moving forward with their hunt for Baylor’s next permanent president… The committee has developed a profile of the person they are looking for, and the search firm they’ve hired (Baker and Associates of Atlanta) already has almost 100 names who were nominated or have expressed interest in the position.

The prospectus that the search committee developed has been placed on the Presidential Search Website as a PDF for all to see. It’s worth reading; the descriptions of what Baylor is all about sum up the University quite well, and made me proud to be associated with such an institution. There’s a great list of some of Baylor’s most notable alumni, from business to politics, entertainment to athletics, and the prospectus also includes a profile of what the committee is looking for in Baylor’s president.
