Students give back to Waco community through Steppin’ Out
Baylor students spread across Waco last weekend for the spring Steppin’ Out, volunteering all over the city: helping clean up the shores of Lake Waco, working on a parking lot at Rapoport Academy, and helping repaint several homes around town, among a number of projects. (Click here for a photo gallery from Saturday’s events.)
But Steppin’ Out isn’t just for students. Knowing that Baylor graduates often settle outside Waco, the Baylor Network works with alumni across the world to carry on the Baylor tradition of service in local communities, wherever Bears may be. Or, if you’d like to help support current students in their endeavors around Waco, considering giving financially to help the program continue to give back to the city.
Sic ’em, Steppin’ Out!
