• Baylor students recognized among nation’s leaders in fighting poverty

We’ve mentioned the ONE Campaign’s efforts here before; a relatively recent student group at Baylor, the ONE Campaign quickly moved into the top 50 campus chapters in the nation last year, and this year has taken another large leap, ranking as the No. 3 ONE campus in the nation out of over 800 participating universities!

As one of the group’s top 10 schools, the Baylor chapter will receive a $1,000 grant to build a project, program or event drawing attention to the global crises of poverty and disease. Last month, the local ONE chapter worked with Baylor athletics to get the word out about the organization and its goals at a Lady Bear basketball game (see the video here). Special thanks to Bruiser, the Baylor spirit squads, the Courtside Players and the Lady Bears for helping spread the word!

    Sic ’em, ONE Campaign!
