• Line Camp introduces Class of 2012 to Baylor life

Line Camp 2008I wish Line Camp had existed when I was an incoming freshman. This summer, hundreds of members of the class of 2012 spent a week meeting their future classmates, learning Baylor traditions, and even touring the site of the original campus in Independence, Texas. Among the many activities, students at Line Camp experience their first Dr Pepper Hour, their first Sing practice, their first games in Minglewood Bowl, and their first Steppin’ Out-style experience in Waco.

The folks at Baylor Photography were kind enough to compile this photo gallery from this summer’s Line Camps. I’m told that nearly 40% incoming students participated this year, a record for the seven-year-old program.

Sic ’em, Line Camp, and sic ’em, incoming freshmen!
