Students serve Waco during Steppin’ Out

Posted by The Baylor Proud Team in Photo Galleries, Service, Student life

Steppin’ Out April 2008Wednesday may have been American Idol’s “Idol Gives Back” program, but Baylor students have been participating in something similar for much longer. Last Saturday, hundreds of students, faculty and staff volunteered for Steppin’ Out, the University’s semi-annual service day. This year’s group painted homes, picked up trash and helped out at an animal rescue shelter, among many projects.

Students and other Baylor folks have been working with the Waco community to help serve the city’s needs through Steppin’ Out for over 20 years. Baylor Photography snapped the pictures in this photo gallery to share with those who couldn’t participate.

Sic ’em, Baylor student volunteers!
