• Baylor basketball combine for a 29-3 start to the season

Baylor men’s basketballIt seems like we’re posting on Baylor basketball every week, but as long as the teams keep up their current hot starts, we’ll be glad to keep writing about them.

Coach Kim Mulkey’s Lady Bears are off to a 3-0 start to Big 12 Conference play for the first time in program history (hard to believe, but true). At 15-1 on the year and ranked No. 6 in the nation, the Lady Bears head to Oklahoma for a nationally televised showdown with the No. 10 Sooners at 2 p.m. CT Sunday on ESPN2.

On the men’s side, coach Scott Drew’s Bears are 14-2 on the season, again receiving votes in the AP poll and matching the program’s best start since the 1945-46 squad (which went on to win the Southwest Conference and earn the Bears’ first NCAA tournament appearance). The Baylor men are on the road this weekend at Nebraska; the game will be televised live Saturday at 5 p.m. CT by ESPN Plus; click here for a listing of stations carrying the game.

    Sic ’em, Baylor basketball!
