Baylor’s Jones recognized by Sports Illustrated

As a kid dreaming of being a famous athlete someday, I wondered what it would be like to have my picture in Sports Illustrated. Baylor sophomore Nichole Jones is learning what that’s like after being included in SI‘s “Faces in the Crowd” this week, a top honor for amateur athletes across the country.

The Sept. 24 issue, now on newsstands, applauds Jones for winning her first two races this year, leading the Bears to a pair of team victories to open the season. For more on Jones and her success at Baylor, here’s an article in Baylor Magazine.
